All applications must have a specific dog in mind for us to begin the adoption process. I'm sorry but we are not staffed to process applications for general future reference, and we are not set up to recall individuals with requests for a dog based on descriptions of what they are looking for.

Carl Beck
This dog is on hold while we are waiting on a Cardiologist appointment . It has been discovered that he has an enlarged heart.
Meet Carl Beck, a 10-year-old Chorkie—mostly Chihuahua with a possible hint of Yorkie—who weighs just 5.5 pounds and could benefit from gaining a little weight. This tiny senior pup came to us from a shelter and has shown himself to be calm, shy, and somewhat independent. While he enjoys his quiet time, Carl also craves attention and, with patience and love, will form a strong bond with his person. He can be a bit of a slippery escape artist, so extra care is needed around doors to keep him safe—likely one of the reasons he ended up in the shelter in the first place.
Now living in a foster home, Carl gets along well with other dogs and would likely do fine with cats, too. However, due to his small size and sensitivity to loud noises and sudden movements, we ask that families with young children not apply. Carl is a smart little guy who loves exploring new scents and would enjoy short, gentle walks. Because of his size, he should never be left outside alone.
Carl Beck is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has recently had a dental. His adoption fee is $275.

Miss Pickles
Meet Miss Pickles — a lovable 10-month-old, 18‑lb mixed-breed pup whose gentle nature will charm your heart from the first wiggle of her adorable “pickle tilt.” This submissive sweetheart thrives on affection, instantly resting her head in your lap and eagerly giving kisses, yet she’s happiest in a calm, patient home. Being dog-friendly (she adores smaller, mellow pups) and likely cat-compatible, Pickles would also do well with gentle, responsible older kids. Thanks to a congenital unusual spine formation, she has a comical stumble when she walks—nothing painful, and her vet believes no intervention is needed. To support her mobility long-term, she’s on a joint supplement (though adopters may wish to seek a second vet opinion). Despite this slight wobble—where her left hind leg is affected more than the right—her spirit is unwavering and full of love. She’ll bloom in a home with a securely fenced yard and someone with time and warmth to support her growth. Pickles is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and her adoption fee is $300. If you’re ready for a loyal, affectionate companion with a heart as unique as her walk, apply today!
Nova
Nova is a vibrant, two‑year‑old Pomsky (Pomeranian × Siberian Husky), weighing a healthy 20 pounds—right in the standard size range for the breed, which typically falls between 20–30 lbs . Her story began under dire circumstances: animal control rescued her after a report surfaced of a woman breeding thirteen dogs inside her car, and Nova—who had already had two litters—was among those confined in that unsafe environment.
Despite her past, Nova has blossomed into an intelligent, playful, loyal, and affectionate companion. Pomskies are known for thriving in active homes, and Nova is no exception: she excels when given daily physical and mental stimulation, such as walks, interactive play, or puzzle toys. Although she can show a touch of stubbornness—heritage from her Husky side—she responds beautifully to calm, consistent, positive-reinforcement training. Her luxurious double coat requires regular grooming to manage seasonal shedding and keep her comfortable, though it isn’t considered overly high maintenance.
Nova will thrive in a structured, affectionate home—one where she receives plenty of attention, engagement, and opportunity to bond with her humans. She’s ready to bring immeasurable joy and loyalty to her forever family.
We are placing Nova (Mom) for adoption at $400, with her puppies available for $450 each. Interested adopters are encouraged to apply early .

Loki
Loki is an 8-week-old Pomeranian/Husky mix with a big personality in a tiny 5-pound body. We expect him to grow to around 20 pounds. He was rescued from an unfortunate breeding situation along with his mom and siblings, and while he’s already thriving in so many ways, he’s also a very special pup.
It’s believed that Loki may have experienced a lack of oxygen at birth, which has led to some mild neurological quirks. You may notice him wobble, stumble, or tilt his head slightly — but none of that slows him down. Loki is a happy, playful puppy who brings joy to everyone he meets. He sees well enough to get around, though he may have some mild vision impairment. His vet recommends an MRI at 6 months old to better understand his condition.
Loki is very social and loves to play with his littermates and cuddle with people. He’s already been exposed to lots of love and interaction, and we’re looking for an adopter who can continue that care and provide him with a safe, nurturing environment. Ideally, his future family will be home often to give him plenty of time, attention, and gentle training.
Loki comes neutered, microchipped, and with his first round of vaccinations. His adoption fee is $350.

To prospective adopters:
It is true rescuers are more particular of who they adopt dogs to. We see all the horrible treatment of animals every day. We literally rescue dogs from the poor or abusive treatment of humans. In my personal opinion, society has evolved to where owning a dog is a right and privilege. Most people consider only what they want and not what is right for the dog. That is why once a dog is in our hands, and consequently in our hearts, we make sure that anyone who adopts an animal from us has a good life to offer the dog. It is not an easy task. Everyone wants a dog. We try to screen people first before getting too involved with helping them find a dog, or we would be simply selling dogs. We are also a strictly a volunteer organization. Most of us work at least part-time jobs. Our time to the rescue is valuable and limited. We believe that anyone who is sincerely a wonderful potential adopter will endure the process.
